Dave, thank you for doing the research here & showing how vicious and corrupted the pro-pediatric sex change faction is. Any honest person in the U.S. knows that the SPLC is not what it once was--it's currently riven by accusations of sexual harassment by leadership and otherwise poor treatment of its staff. But just as the trans lobby doesn't mind wearing the skin suit of the Civil and gay rights movements, they're repurposing one of our storied Civil Rights NGOs to skin suit themselves. Shame on the SPLC for their laziness and greed!

Sometimes they really are after your kids. My daughter escaped--but there are still so many children offering themselves up to Moloch. I say bring on the lawsuits in the U.S.--take the money out of this child mutilation scheme, and it will go pop like a balloon.

Wow.

" that make thousands and thousands of donations every year, not only to dubious organisations like Alliance Defending Freedom or Family Research Council, but also to SPLC themselves."

Thank you for tracking this down. It is really hard to explain to people how crazy this has gotten.

The SPLC playbook in a nutshell:

"Bob is a right-wing extremist because he hangs out with Phil."

"Wait, Phil is also a right-wing extremist? How do we know that?"

"Because he hangs out with notorious right-wing extremists like Bob."

A good research job well done, thanks. The Guardian had £1,244.7m invested in the Scott Trust Ltd in 2023, which is over 1.6 billion USD. A mere $750m is southern poverty indeed. So much for the ragged-trousered philanthropists. https://uploads.guim.co.uk/2023/07/25/Scott_Trust_endowment_report_2023.pdf

OK, I have the attention span of a gnat, but I really don't know what you are talking about here. Maybe I need a preface giving me some background information.

I have started the article three times (not reached the end yet) as I keep getting lost :(

Short version: SPLC describe SEGM as a hate group for (in part) taking $400k from three charitable foundations, despite SPLC taking $22 million from those same foundations in the last 3 years alone.

…if SPLC’s tactics succeed, either in court of law or court of public opinion but especially if both: more US children will be sterilized, more US female athletes will lose titles and scholarships, more women will be raped and terrorized in prison by men claiming Prison Onset Gender Dysphoria. Ultimately, more liberals (esp women) will become alienated from politics as they grasp their betrayal by the Democratic Party and its NGOs. That last one won’t worry everyone, but it should definitely worry the SPLC.

The US gender-affirming model, pushed by WPATH, is being abandoned by countries which are paying attention to systematic reviews of the evidence. (WPATH, in contrast, suppressed findings of the evidence reviews it commissioned, as reported in the Economist or as can be read in released court documents, some discussion is on the SEGM web pages).

The Cass Review's evidence-based findings and SEGM's analyses of the research disagree with what WPATH wants to recommend (see the quotation above, where WPATH is worried about its studies being shown to be flawed). This essay describes attempts to undermine the credibility of SEGM and the Cass Review. In particular, there was a supposed financial complaint "against" SEGM which seems to actually be a stronger financial complaint "against" SPLC, as this detailed essay points out.
